Good Day Zay,

I love you Azaylia, I don’t know if you’ll ever read any of these, this is the first journal that I am writing. I want to have something to show you that Daddy Loves You and Always has.

I have just gotten word that I wont be seeing you for Christmas for the 2nd time in a row. This hurts my heart. I love you. I missed a whole year now, i missed your last christmas, your summer and camping times, now i missed your birthday and I am not able to see you for Christmas.

I often find my self wondering what you might be doing and hoping you still remember me when i do get the chance to see you again. Thinking about what you are into and how my little kiddo is doing. I try to tell my self stories that you are flourishing and doing really well with Mommy in Brandon. I like to think that you are excited to be in day care and have all the amazing fun things you can be doing out in that lovley city of yours.

Ziggy also misses her little sister, that what we used to cal you, Ziggy’s little sister. Ziggy the Dog misses your toes and all the snacks you would give her.

I am sorry I am not there and havnet been able to see you for over a year. It made me so happy the last time you got to video call me when you were out in Winnipeg with Nani and Papa. Princess, please remember all the times that we spent together in the pool at the hotel and the lake at turtle crossing. Hopefully we can do that again SOON. Zay I can’t wait till I can help you ride the big big water slide for big girls again. Flying down the waterslide and Zay gets to fly up in the air at the end when Daddy gets flouded with water all over.

I stopped Nani from getting rid of some of your toys that I really cherish the other day. I don’t have much to keep a hold of these days. I don’t know if you’ll still want to play with them with Daddy but I didn’t want loose them.

Ok Azaylia, if you do get to ever read these just know that I love you, you are an amazing big girl who is so smart and couragous. Be good for Mommy and make sure you are the bestest Princess in the lands.
